Esteban Interiors transformed a 1970’s home into a modern style arts and crafts dwelling. American Walnut is used around the house in the walls and flooring to create a mid-century modern, classic feel. The walnut is balanced by the use of accent lighting, metal finishes, and dramatic elements — such as a Moooi chandelier at the entryway — to create a more modern aesthetic. Fabrics were carefully chosen to soften the surroundings, absorb sound, and provide light control. The finished product was a blending of eras in new and unique ways to create a modern twist on a timeless classic.
